Stronger Together: SBS Staff Secure Key Wins
SBS staff have voted to approve a new Enterprise Agreement, following a hard-fought campaign that delivered significant improvements. Members secured meaningful wins after a historic ‘no’ vote in December, the first in over a decade, forcing management back to the table. The improved deal includes:
● A $1,500 bonus on top of 3% annual pay rises
● Increased casual loading
● Expanded parental and foster carers leave
● New gender affirmation leave
● AI consultation provisions and payment for voice cloning
By standing strong together, SBS staff have made their workplace fairer and more equitable and built the momentum to keep pushing for more.
