MEAA Online

Welcome to the new MEAA website.

We have built this website from scratch to improve the user experience for you, our members.

This website has been built after months of feedback and consultation and has several new features and functionality that will make it easier than ever for you to connect with your union  − and with other members.

The first thing you will notice is the fresh home page design with plenty of images. On the home page you can catch up with latest news from our media releases and blogs, and scan upcoming events.

There is a live Twitter feed from @withMEAA and you can follow all of our social media accounts from the home page.

Along the menu at the top of the page are a range of other options, including details of benefits and discounts for members; the media room where you will find media releases, speeches and submissions; campaigns; and industrial resources like agreement summaries.

Most importantly, each member of MEAA has their own personal log-in to the website, which is located in the top right corner of the home page. The first time you log in, you will need to activate your membership, so have your member number or email address handy. If you experience any problems signing up, call MEAA Member Central on 1300 656 513, and one of our consultants can walk you through the process.

Once inside the site, you will see additional menus and pages tailored to whichever section of the union you belong to.

Go to the ‘About me’ menu at the top left to make changes to your account. Add a personal portfolio which you can keep private only for other members to see, or publish publicly. This is particularly useful if you are a freelancer.

Another new feature is the Connect section of the website. This is a hub for a range of opportunities to engage with your union and with other members, including registering to attend events, viewing member portfolios, learning about opportunities such as upcoming productions, job offers and competitions, and the freelance rate tracker.

The website is fully-responsive, meaning it is easily read on desktop/lap top computers, tablets and mobile phones.

We are keen on feedback from staff for any improvements to the site before it goes live to the public, so please email any comments to communications@meaa.org, with the subject line ‘New MEAA website’.

We hope you enjoy the new website.
