MEAA officer and related party disclosure statement to Registered Organisations Commission 2018


MEAA is a registered industrial organisation of employees under the Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Act 2009.

Section 293J of the Act requires MEAA to disclose: (i) remuneration of officers arising from holding an elected union position; (ii) receipt of income or benefits arising from holding an elected MEAA position (e.g. membership of and income received as a result of holding a board position where the union is an ex officio appointee; (iii) payments made to and by related parties to MEAA officers and (iv) any non-cash benefits received by MEAA officers.
