The 2019 Walkley Award finalists will be announced at simultaneous free events on Thursday October 17:

• in Sydney at Kittyhawk, 16 Phillip Lane (hosted by Nine’s Dimity Clancey and Junkee’s Rob Stott) and
• in Melbourne at Garden State Hotel 101 Flinders Lane(hosted by The Age’s Michael Bachelard and 3AW’s Heidi Murphy). The Melbourne event will be held in conjunction with MEAA Media’s Melbourne Media Drinks.
