Launched in 2016, the Leading Change Journalism Bursary offers young people across the Commonwealth the chance to develop their journalism skills while building a portfolio of work.

Now, five Leading Change Journalism Bursaries are being awarded to one young person aged 18-30 in each Commonwealth region – Africa, Asia, Canada and Europe, Caribbean and Americas, and the Pacific.

This year, a sum of £700 sterling will be awarded to each of the successful regional applicants to fund their professional development as they create web content for our award-winning website, Leading Change, which is hosted by the University of Cambridge in Britain.

The deadline for applications is 21st November.
