Louise Howlett

Louise Howlett is a director, producer, theatre-maker, writer, performer and the Artistic Director of ReAction Theatre – a company she formed in 2011 predominately to present new and contemporary Australian text-based theatre pieces. ReAction Theatre brings together a team of artists and experts, on a project by project basis, to collaborate on the development of new theatrical works. She has worked across different styles to create a distinct, varied body of work. This includes long and short form text-based theatrical pieces, devised performances and immersive works that cover diverse social and cultural contexts. She is a trained actor, having undertaken 3 years of study in the Meisner Technique with AFI nominated actor Vikki Blanche.
