Kenneth (Rick) Stevens

Freelance photographer Rick Stevens, twice winner of the Australian Press Photographer of the Year Award, is a former senior photographer with the Sydney Morning Herald. His assignments for the Herald have included Royal Tours to Australia, Pope Visits to Australia and Papua New Guinea, the coup in Fiji, the Port Arthur massacre, the Bali bombings, the Edinburgh Commonwealth Games and the Olympic Games in both Barcelona and Sydney .The wedding of Mary Donaldson to Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark in Copenhagen in 2004. More recent assignments have included the Torch Relay for the 2006 Asian Games and Beijing Olympics, 2008 and the Pope’s visit to Sydney in 2008.Fifa Fan Fest at Darling Harbour during 2010 World Cup and Sydney Harbour 2010 New Years Eve celebrations for Sydney City. His current clients include Reuters, Taronga Western Plains Zoo, The Lowy Institute, NSW Law Society, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Sydney Olympic Park Authority, Barangaroo Delivery Authority and Chief Executive Women.
