IEUA-QNT is a union representing over 17,000 teacher, school officer and services staff members in non-government education institutions throughout Queensland and the Northern Territory.

Applications are sought for the following full-time, fixed-term position:

PUBLICATIONS OFFICER / JOURNALIST – FIXED-TERM APPOINTMENT

The duties of this full-time, fixed term (9 month) position include:

• writing for union publications
• production of Union Journal (5 times per year) including desktop publishing and sub-editing
• contribution to a National Journal (6 times per year)

Skills in desktop publishing (using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop) are essential. Training will  be provided in specific software as appropriate.

The position is based in Brisbane.

A salary package dependent on qualifications and experience will be determined.
