This role crafts compelling narratives across internal and external channels; ensures consistent messaging; and partners with stakeholders across the union, industry, and media to drive outcomes aligned to our strategic priorities. Internal Communications Partner with the senior leadership team to deliver clear, timely internal communications that inform, align, and motivate team members.
Campaigns & Events Plan and deliver integrated comms plans for MEAA campaigns, engaging stakeholders and the broader team to develop and deliver comms activity in line with the agreed plan. Stakeholder & Member Engagement

Key accountabilities: This role reports to the Chief Growth & Marketing Officer and is accountable for the performance of the union’s digital marketing channels, specifically the following outputs.
Key skills: This role is a digital marketing professional who can work across channels to lift engagement with channels and drive return on investment from digital advertising.

This role provides opportunities to work with a range of members including performers, journalists, musicians and entertainment crew. MEAA is seeking to fill a full time Lead Organiser position based in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne. The position is responsible for developing, managing and leading organising activities nationally, across all MEAA industries, as directed.
ABOUT THE ROLE The Lead Organiser will assist MEAA industry section directors and organisers, working to operationalise MEAA’s strategic plan, with a focus on organising workers in priority industry campaigns. The role reports to the MEAA Chief Executive and Campaigns Director.
