In Conversation with Sarah Snook

28/04/2017
7:00pm - 9:00pm
ACMI, Federation Square, Melbourne

Sarah Snook will introduce the world premiere of her new short film and discuss her current projects.

Snook (The Beautiful Lie, The Dressmaker, Predestination) joins ACMI to talk about the passion, an ethereal new series of intimate short films based on classic texts.

Sarah will present the world premiere of Alice, which is the second short in the series and based on Noel Coward’s Alice (Is At It Again). The first film in the series, which is based on T.S. Eliot’s The Love Song of J Alfred Prufrock and stars Daniell Henshall, will also be screened during the session.

She will be joined in conversation by producer Dan Prichard and director Laura Scrivano to discuss the collaborative process of developing the shorts, as well as the appeal of developing screen art from literature. She will also discuss her current work on Winchester, the forthcoming feature from the Spierig Brothers.
