Competition Terms and Conditions


1 Acceptance

Entry into this competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

2 Promoter

The promoter is Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance (ABN 84 054 775 598) of 245 Chalmers St Redfern NSW 2016 (“Promoter”).

3 Promotion Period

The promotion starts at 9am AEDT on January 1 2026 and ends at 11:59pm AEDT on March 31 2026 (“Promotion Period”). Entries received outside the Promotion Period will not be accepted.

4 Eligibility

Entry is open to working musicians living in Australia over 18 years of age (or if under 18 with parent/guardian consent where the parent/guardian will be deemed the entrant) except for employees of the Promoter, its associated agencies and companies, and their immediate families.

5 How to Enter

5.1 During the Promotion Period, eligible entrants must Complete the full survey at Musicians Australia 2026 Survey and submit the online form including full name, email and contact phone number” (“Entry”).

5.2 Entry conditions: maximum one (1) entry per person. only completed surveys constitute a valid entry”.

5.3 Entries must be the entrant’s own and must not infringe any third‑party rights. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.

5.4 The Promoter may, at its discretion, verify entries and disqualify entrants who tamper with the entry process or do not comply with these Terms.

6 Prizes

6.1 Total prize pool value: AUD $500 RRP.

6.2 Prize(s): 1 x voucher to a music supplies or instrument store

6.3 Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash

7 Draw Details

7.1 Draw type: computerised random selection.

7.2 Draw date & time: April 1 2026 at 11amAEDT.

7.3 Draw location: Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance at 245 Chalmers St Redfern NSW 2016.

7.4 The first valid entry drawn will win the prize

8 Winner Notification & Publication

8.1 Winners will be notified [by email/SMS/phone] within 2 business days of the draw using the contact details provided in their Entry.

8.2 Winners’ first name, last name initial and State/Territory will be published at meaa.org on April 1 2026 and kept online.

8.3 The Promoter may re‑verify eligibility before confirming a prize.

9 Unclaimed Prize Draw

9.1 If any prize remains unclaimed by 9am AEDT on June 30 2026, a further draw may take place to distribute unclaimed prize(s), subject to any regulatory directions.

9.2 Unclaimed prize draw date & time: July 1 2026 at 11am AEDT at Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance, 245 Chalmers St Redfern NSW 2016.

9.3 Winners (if any) from the unclaimed prize draw will be notified by email/phone within 2 business days and published at meaa.org on July 1, 2026.

10 Verification & Disqualification

The Promoter may request entrants/winners provide proof of identity, age, and residency in a form acceptable to the Promoter, and the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not comply with these Terms, including entries that are fraudulent, misleading, or otherwise tamper with the entry process.

11 Privacy

The Promoter collects personal information to conduct the promotion and in line with our Privacy Policy

12 Intellectual Property & Content

12.1  Entrants grant the Promoter a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, publish and adapt any content submitted with the Entry for the purpose of administering and promoting the promotion and the Promoter’s products/services, in any media, perpetual, without further compensation.

12.2 Entrants warrant they own any submitted content and have permission from any identifiable persons featured.

13 Liability

The Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury arising from the promotion or any prize, including technical issues or third‑party failures that prevent an Entry being received or a winner being contacted, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

14 General

14.1 If the promotion cannot run as planned for any reason beyond the Promoter’s control (e.g., tampering, technical failures), the Promoter may take any action available, including modifying, suspending, terminating or rescheduling the promotion, subject to regulatory approval (if required).

14.2 Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

14.3 These Terms are governed by the laws of NSW, and entrants submit to the non‑exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that place.
