Join MEAA and PEN as we take press freedom to the streets in Perth on Sunday 28th of July.

Following the AFP raids on journalists’ homes and offices in June, along with the increasing criminalisation and persecution of journalists and whistleblowers, MEAA is hosting a public rally for press freedom.

This is an issue that affects us all. It underpins the foundations of our democracy and the ability to hold those in power to account.

Attacks on journalists are attacks on the public’s right to know.
