MEAA Equity Federal President, Chloe Dallimore, and Equity staff would like to speak with all cast members who have been engaged on a future contracts at subsidised theatre companies (those with yearly seasons eg. MTC, STC, QTC, Malthouse, Belvoir, etc.).

The purpose of this meeting is to inform members and performers in affected casts of the developing situation with the cancellation and termination of theatre contracts for productions due to COVID-19; update cast members of the steps Equity has taken during this period; to inform cast members of the legal position regarding these future contracts; and to discuss the options for Equity and performers.

Note: This meeting will not deal with  upcoming contracts for commercial theatre producers (GFO, MCG GWB etc.)
