Entries are now open for the 2016 Amnesty International Australia Media Awards.

The awards, now in their third year, recognise the excellent work of Australian journalists in uncovering human rights violations, holding abusers to account, and telling difficult stories in engaging ways.

Journalists, cartoonists, photographers and their producers and editors are encouraged to nominate pieces broadcast or published between 1 August 2015 and 1 August 2016. All work must be an original commissioned piece. See the web site for details: http://www.amnesty.org.au/event/media-awards-2016
