At its face-to-face meeting in Sydney on Thursday, February 17, 2023, the MEAA National Media Section Committee considered a Draft Position Statement on AI and passed the following resolution:
The NMS notes the risks and opportunities raised in relation to AI. That the NMS form a sub-committee off-line including ethics committee, to provide ongoing consideration of evolving technology including AI.
